Using the camera and editing a music video Part

We used the filming camera for a second time to gain more practice and get comfortable filming for the actual project. This time we made a short music video to a rap song - Tion Wayne ft. Afro B - Grind Dont Stop. The reason why the song choice is so different to our first film practice is because we decided to change the genre of music to rap/hip hop as we believe that we can come up with a more effective idea for a music video. After we recorded our shots, we then used Premiere Pro to edit our music video. After our first filming task, we knew that our editing skills had to be improved and i believe that we did improve them because, we used good editing techniques such as slow motion and fast motion. And we also used the special effect of the screen shaking as it complimented that specific part of the song.

Recap for todays lesson

This lesson we started to come up with song choices and ideas for our music video. We came to the decision that we wanted to use the song (Yxng Bane - You Should've Known Better). We believe this is a good idea because it fits the genre of music that we have chosen and we also have some good ideas as to what we can do for our music video. Now that we have this idea we can begin our treatment and our pitch presentation.
